A Message from Our Co-Founders,
Angela Yong Sellers and Avery Wolff
We created the Tour of Tea event with a simple but powerful vision: to build a safe, welcoming space where people can explore new experiences, connect across cultures, and celebrate community — all in a non-alcoholic, inclusive environment.
At Tour of Tea, every sip tells a story — a story of tradition, resilience, and the beauty of sharing our heritage with others.
As the event grew, so did our mission. We founded the nonprofit Tour of Tea SC to expand this work across the state. Through Tour of Tea SC, we spill the tea on all things Asian — offering support to AAPI organizations through better funding opportunities, social media amplification, and broader exposure. We want to ensure that every AAPI voice in South Carolina is celebrated, elevated, and heard.
Thank you for being part of this journey with us. We’re excited to continue building a community where stories are shared, cultures are honored, and new connections are brewed.
